Nature of the Website

Santa Clara County Busted Mugshots is an independent reference site. It is not part of the County of Santa Clara Office of the Sheriff, Main Jail, Elmwood, CDCR, the Superior Court, or any city police agency. The site does not keep official arrest, custody, or court records. It cannot confirm that a person is in custody, order a release, post bond, or submit a government filing.

Its pages point readers toward Santa Clara County jail and booking resources, city records routes, court sources, and state or federal custody locators. Some functions also connect users with outside research tools. Access to an official record is determined by its custodian under the California Public Records Act and other applicable disclosure rules, not by this site.

Rules for Acceptable Use
